Sandalford Winery 17th May 2025

What a day at Sandalford Winery in Perth’s Swan Valley! I swung by to pick up four bottles of their incredible wine that I won, and I’m still buzzing from the experience. Sandalford’s estate, founded in 1840 by John Septimus Roe, Western Australia’s first Surveyor General, is steeped in history. It’s one of Australia’s oldest wineries, kicking off the region’s wine industry with its Caversham vineyard. From humble beginnings, it grew through the 20th century, with post-WWII immigrants bringing new winemaking techniques. Today, Sandalford shines with award-winning ranges like Prendiville Reserve, Estate Reserve, and the 1840 Range, crafted from their Swan Valley and Margaret River vineyards. Their wines—think lush Shiraz, crisp Verdelho, and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon—are exported to over 40 countries!

The estate was as stunning as ever, with its lush vineyards and warm, welcoming vibe. A massive thank you to the Sandalford team for the amazing prize—I can’t wait to savor these bottles! If you’re in Perth, a visit to this historic gem is a must. 🍷 #SandalfordWinery #SwanValley #WineLovers

Health Update:

Had my MRI follow-up today. Diagnosed with a large brain aneurysm on the left side. No other brain issues found. I'm a priority for surgery due to its size. Awaiting my neurosurgeon appointment to discuss the operation plan, then I'll wait for the surgery date. Thankful for the care and support. 🙏 #HealthJourney

Been a tough few days in my life

Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update with you all. I’ve been in the hospital after being diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, which was really scary and still is. It’ll need surgery, but for now, I’m back home. I’m taking it one day at a time and feeling grateful for your support. Thanks for being there! 💜
